The delivery valve is positioned at the top of the fuel injection pump, acting as the primary control gateway between the pump element (barrel & plunger) and the high-pressure fuel line. For the robust MAN 28/32 medium-speed engines, this valve is manufactured to extreme mechanical tolerances to cope with intense hydraulic cycles and heavy fuel strains.
